I was born in Kent, England, however, my heart has belonged to Wales since we first holidayed here when I was eight years old. I have lived in Ceredigion for the past twenty-one years with my husband. We share our lives with dogs, cats, horses, sheep and a range of poultry, oh and usually a pig or two.

I have always had a love of writing.  As a child, I'd badger my parents for exercise books, filling them faster than they could replace them .  That was until my tenth birthday when I received a Petite Junior typewriter... 

At the age of forty, I was offered a place at The University of Wales, Lampeter, where I gained a BA Hons degree in English Literature. 

Three years ago I was able to make the decision to write full-time.  

My lovely hubby built me a writing shed, installed a wood-burning stove, and informed me there was now no excuse for me not to write. 

What he failed to note was the fabulous views of the Cambrian Mountains, complete with wheeling Red Kites, I have from my desk.
